The first generation of these vehicle platforms were introduced to Europe as early as 1995. These van models have recently been offered for sale in the United States, replacing previous generation full size cargo and passenger vans. 

 

 

From the first generation of these vehicles to now there have been many significant improvements made. Although these vehicles appear to be larger than previous domestic vans offered they are much more agile than their unwieldy predecessors, more fuel efficient and have reduced wind and road noise.
